Recognizing God’s voice is not just a privilege given to a select few. It is the right of every believer. By studying the Word of God and heightening our spiritual senses to hear the still small voice of God, women may indeed recognize the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Priscilla Shirer walks through Scripture that captures the method and tone of God’s communication and teaches to beware of counterfeit voices. How we each encounter God’s voice may differ, but the nature of it does not.
How many of you know of you always know when God is speaking to you without a shadow of daught? This is something I struggle with a lot.
CrossPoint is starting up their Fall Community Fair in September and lately I have felt like God was wanting me to lead a group. Pete‘s sermons lately has really made me stop and think. I have been in communitcation with Ryan about starting a group up but have been undecided what study I wanted to do.
Well here it is, Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God Speaks by Priscilla Shirer. Since this is something I struggle with I thought there are a few others out there that are with me. The group will me on bi-Wednesday and is open to anyone in the Nashville area. I only have room this time for 12 members.

You are not alone in not always being sure if it’s God’s voice, your own, or even the enemy’s voice. This is a great study. I’ll be praying for you to know beyond a doubt how He is leading you. You will NEVER go wrong with Him.
